Chapter 4

Man and the Test

Preface: Human descendants have their upright body shape from the beginning of their creation. He has the best status (shape/form). Almighty Allah has made him His Representative (Khalifah) on the face of the earth. Yes, the truth therein is that he may substantially be ready for the test. Where, Almighty Allah, suggested the Load of consignment (worship, obedience) to mountains, earth etc., all of them apologized for it's heaviness. It was only Man who stepped forward and got ready to accept carrying it.

"Lo! We offered the trust unto the Heavens and the earth and the Hells, but they shrank from bearing it and were afraid of it. And Man assumed it. Lo! He had proved a tyrant and a fool (from the heaviness of the obedience's and roles in it's various testing scenes)." (Al-Ahzab, 33:72Q)

By now you have understood to some extent little by little the wisdom behind Man being in the situation of testing. So it is proper, to realize the following fact as well, as wherewith are human beings tested and what are the opposing and supporting forces in the box of the body? Also as how we succeed either to eliminate the opposite forces or, peacefully to purify it with the help of Almighty Allah, the guidance of these sacred Epistles and their righteous and knowledgeable Instructors. On the opposite side, as how to strengthen the more and the quicker the power of spiritual and belief forces, which is the only tool for relationship of the servant to Almighty Allah.

Undoubtedly, there seem less chance of success for carrying on these facts, unless the person has penetrated into the basis of corruption for the original nuisance, and the active role of the person himself.

Accordingly, in the following we will draw your attention to the topic under the title of (Man & the Test).

1. Have you noticed? People's bodies are like machines of collecting good and evil, equipped with the active forces of Rooh and Nafs. Each of these forces is active in gathering it's needs in the world in accordance with Man's status.

They are busy gathering the good and evil deeds through their motives (Angel and Devils).

2. Have you noticed? Why Man contrary to all other creatures, is created in upright shape, and all other creatures whether in ocean or on land, are created in flat shape?

Yes! In order for Man by the power of complete belief and full Insight into Almighty Allah, and proportional to his inner purity away from the weapon of egoistic and satanic attacks and disguises to go up directly to 'Ula-I-Uleen (the highest Heaven). On the contrary, he may be influenced by the sparks of Satanic seductions and establishment of material powers. Moreover, if he makes efforts in gathering these material from unlawful ways, and continues doing so till the end, then he will go down to Asfal-ul-Safileen (the lowest of Hells). We seek refuge in Allah.

3. Have you noticed? In situations as such, there are magnets in 'Ula-e-Uleen and Asfal-ul-Safileen for attracting human descendants. In other words, there are invitee's appointed for attracting Man to truth and falsehood. The Guidance for inviting people to Almighty Allah and to the acquisition of Insight into Almighty Lord, are the Prophets, peace be upon them, the honorable Awliya (Saints, mercy of Allah be upon them) and the righteous and pious ones among human beings. They are calling human beings to truth. Undoubtedly, they are selected ones among human beings by Great Almighty Allah.

4. Have you noticed? Likewise, there is the power opposite to Insight into and acquaintance with God, and for the denial of Greatness of Almighty Lord, in spite of observing this Exhibition (World) full of billions of secrets. They are also invisible and visible invitee's who are actually the friends of devils and Man's specie. In this category, atheists and unbelievers are respectively placed.

We seek refuge in Glorious Allah from their doctrines and harms.

5. Have you noticed? These two contradictory Invitations have always existed, and occasionally have made collisions with each other. A part of history's pages is the witness for this claim. Namely, the life cannot actually be settled without these two processes. It would not be exaggeration, if we were to say that the settlement of the world is on oppositions.

Blessed are the holy spirited people who are doing efforts in inviting humanity towards God and for the comfort of humanity under the shade of theism (Knowing God, Insight into God).

"Then the prosperity and happiness of both worlds are to those ones who are doing efforts in expanding Monotheism and are spreading the justice, while in the poverty of Islam." (Hadeeth)

6. Have you noticed? Man is also in need of Rooh and Nafs. Since his lodging and the securing of his living are all totally made out of soil. His provisions required by Nafs and meeting with his other necessities are related to the earth's products. Also, the Nafsee (egoistic) relatives, especially in our time, have increased more. Therefore, the need for spiritual masteries and the attention paid for them is less or even rarely felt. Hence, the ignorance is increasing more and more.

O Allah, Guide them at our hands at all times and all instants, by the honor O'Arham-Arrahimeen.

7. Have you noticed? The things which were able to fortify the spiritual power in the quickest way and to fulfill Man's real needs were the science and the scientific discoveries. In light of which, it was to perceive the Perfection of Almighty Maker, Almighty Provider, and Glorious Creator, and the more to get Insight into His Greatness and Oneness.

Unfortunately, on the contrary, by taking advantage of the occasion, the Nafs and Satan has overcome Mankind. At least, Man did not get Knowledgeably (scholarly) to satisfy and restraint the Nafs and the Satanic deceits, by getting them know as the Qur'an has guided.

8. Have you noticed? Two forces, one positive called Rooh, the other negative called Nafs, in the box of the body, are in quarrel. The spiritual powers want with the assistance of the religious jurisprudence and the cooperation of Angel, to make out of him a sound person and to pull him to the Upper-World. On the contrary, the Nafs takes him, with the cooperation of Devils, towards the pleasures of the perishing world, through the criminal, selfish and other aggressive ways. Thereby, they take him down to Asfal-ul-Safileen (the lowest of Hells).

9. Have you noticed? Both these forces of Rooh and Nafs are receiving fortifications at every time and accession by the good propagation called Angelic Inspirations and the evil propagation called Satanic Temptations. Therefore, the people overcome by Shaitaan and Nafs are rarely ready to do efforts in giving a hand for his other fellow human beings.

10. Have you noticed? Man, due to his discovering power of wisdom, while overcome by Satan, uses the tricks and hypocrisy which his Instructor (Satan) teaches him. Thereby, he by using various deceits, colors his wolfish and wild clothing into righteousness and goodness.

11. Have you noticed? In order to proof this facts, ponder please the following. If human being is following the force of Angelic Powers, and the fortification of spiritual powers, then he will ascend to the Glorious Allah's Ula-Uliyeen. If however, he becomes the follower of (inauspicious, omen) Nafs and the suggestions of damned Satan, then he will be resided in Asfal-ul-Safileen. Therefore, Man contrary to all creatures, is created in upright shape.

12. Have you noticed? Man's heart is actually the television of the body's factory, is serving as the microphone and the person's mouth is like the loudspeaker. In case, the Angel and the Angelic Inspirations are seated behind the heart's microphone, then what will be heard of person's tongue, and what will be seen of his limbs, will be good cooperation and improvement of society. However, if Satan becomes prevalent there behind, then all Evil deeds and violence's will be produced of him in oral and practice.

13. Have you noticed? Why the abandonment of habits causes a disease? Because, any good habit becomes apparent and gets developed in a person due to the prevalence of the spiritual powers and the Angelic Suggestions. Likewise, becoming addicted to Evil deeds is due to the prevalence of Nafs and Satanic Temptations. Since, the transformation of one opposition to other opposition is difficult, and sometimes it is even impossible to unprincipled people, therefore, the abandonment of the habit is called the cause of disease.

14. Have you noticed? What is the reason for all domestic and wild animals, including the terrestrial and marine birds being created in flat shape, on the contrary, Man being created in upright shape?

For, the more and quicker their heads would be down towards the crib and their food, which is ultimate purpose of their creation for utilizing those nutritional sources.

15. Have you noticed? Man has to lower downwards his head in two occasions:

First: For the physical fortification while eating.

Second: For the fortification of the Soul (Rooh), while taking the spiritual or intellectual nourishment.

But, the salvation is to people who lower their heads more for the purpose of acquiring knowledge and practice, and the examination of secrets of things.

16. Have you noticed? Human being is in the position of a movie's actor. He has an outstanding role in making the movie of his life. The Angels (Keram-ul-Katibeen) are photographing him, his actions, deeds and even his good intentions, at each instant. They (the Angels) are recording also the corresponding positions and behaviors, where they do not forget the slightest good or bad situation and word.

"There are no small or big sin, but they are all counted and covered."
(Al-Kahf, 18:49Q)

17. Have you noticed? The collection of the results of these good or evil processes will become the cause of excellent ranks for the person in Paradise, or the cause of person's destruction in the Hell, in the Eternal World. This will be as the Record of Deeds.

"Read your Book or Record of Deeds, which is sufficient for you today, you will be called for account." (The Children of Israel, 17:14Q)
