Chapter 23

The Signs of Salvation from Satan

1. Have you noticed? That whenever Man succeeds in knowing the secrets of enmity, as well as the opposing policies of this apparently invisible but real and indiscernible enemy (Satan), then at that time when it is right for justice to be extended all over the earth, the Insight into Almighty God will supersede in all Hearts, and security will be ruling in all aspects.

2. Have you noticed? Having perceived these facts, how Man can rescue himself from under the reign of egoistic desires and Satanic disguises? And why most of them do not have the power and ability of rescuing themselves? These are appropriate and valuable questions, which Mankind must definitely know.

3. Have you noticed? A scrutiny of these secrets has been comprehensively explained by the generous Qur'an within hundred fifty six verses and in addition by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), in the Hadith of Sihah Sitta.¹ However, as to why up to now there has no attention been paid to it, is a question shaking the soul and psyche of broad-minded believers since we see now that due to these carelessness and negligence we are fallen into the pits of ignorance and some people into the pits of deviation and all kinds of backwardness. These conditions are evidently witnessing our deviations from Islamic principles. At the end of the day, we are appealing to the East and some others have fallen to their knees at the feet of the West, and we stand at their door needy for everything.

4. Have you noticed? In what circumstances will Satan go far and farther from the top of the Heart? Well! As, due to Remembrance (Dhikr Zikr Zikir), or Observation of the Exhibition (Fiker), or religiously approved accomplishments, physical, financial and verbal, the luminosity of Nucleus of Monotheism develop in person; proportionately Satan keeps himself away from this luminosity to a certain distance, so it may not harm him.

5. Have you noticed? This luminosity is actually as the positive charge-carrying electric lead, and the body of Devil and his darkness as negative charge-carrying lead. A short circuit of these two lines will produce sparks that results in annihilation of the negative charge-carrying line. Should the ego mediate, apparently it paves the way for the business of Satan and his disguises, and it prevents the chances of collision.

6. Have you noticed? If the spiritual luminosity and the spirituality of Monotheism in a person keep rising, his designated Devil can stay with him keeping a certain distance and ensuring from a distance the effectiveness of his temptations on the person. If Satan realizes that his voice cannot be effective anymore on that fortunate person, then he petitions to his competent authorities and asks for his dismissal. Of course, in such cases, the dismissed Satan is subjected to anger and demotion.

7. Have you noticed? The signs of such conditions are such that, if a perceptive and vigilant person has noticed or now notices, at the beginning the whispering of Temptations are correctly received from the top of the Heart or in the Heart itself, which is very manifest and clear. As Satan goes away from the person, the whispering is felt to be weak and far off. This is right the occasion when Satan has distanced, and keeps distancing from him. It is necessary that the person put yet more efforts into performing the good deeds, which he used to do, so that his Inner Luminosity grows towards excellence.

8. Have you noticed? After sensing these weak temptations, it happens at once, that Temptations are infused to the person right from the top of the Heart. This is at the moment that the current Satan is dismissed, and now equal to his Inner Luminosity, a Satan of equivalent level of darkness is appointed to the person. Therefore, it is necessary for the person to make an effort towards not abandoning persistence in activities and good deeds, which were the cause of promotion of the Inner.

9. Have you noticed? The perseverance in that act or those acts, or the company of some noble majesties, or the persistence with some Remembrance or the Observation of the Exhibition (Fiker) etc., from which he has acquired the necessary luminosity, become again a bit hard on this occasion. They should show ambition and should persist more seriously. If, he could keep up attending to the mastered Teacher (Ustaad-e-Kamil), this is yet better, for they are well knowledgeable as the spiritual doctors in prescribing medications for strengthening the soul.

10. Have you noticed? The other way of salvation is that he always brings to mind the untalented early days, the misbehaving conduct, and his heedlessness of the past, one after the other, and he should see himself as that insignificant particle, which he originally was. He should come to humbleness and beseech. Undoubtedly, this Devil too will definitely, with the help of Glorious God, be compelled to distance.

he wills us to pray, and will come assist."
