Chapter 20

Devils' Control on Man's Outer of Bodies and on Material Things

1. Have you noticed? We human beings are capable of fully benefiting earthly products and harvests, making actually human beings water-wheels, cycles of things. Similarly, Devils are particular water-wheels¹, cycles of our results. This means that the essence of those things as it reaches the particular conditions-violation with religious or civil laws-are robbed by Devils. In such cases, no matter what quantity is there, it is permissible to Devils.

2. Have you noticed? In fact, the results of the entire earth of whatever kind whether animates, inanimates, fruits, grains or vegetable are all in all created for Mankind's use. The extract of these consumable things is prescribed for Devils in case corruption is mixed therein or in that corresponding action.

3. Have you noticed? The best extract of earthly results is the nutrition and food of Mankind, such as wild and domestic animals, grains, vegetables and fruits. Likewise, the best extract of our foods, eatable and drinkable consumptions become the best foods for Devils and the cause of growth and development for them, should Devils succeed to get control over them and interfere therein. Likewise they, along with their followers among the human and Jinns, become the food and nutrition of Hell.

"Certainly, the Hell will be filled with you and your followers O! Satan."²

4. Have you noticed? How Devils in accordance with the verse, "We have made Devils partners in properties and children of yours (human beings)"³ are partakers in our foods, properties, and children? Hence, Devils are participants in human beings' incomes and can gain benefit for themselves therefrom.

Sure! As we violate the limits of religious laws, and openly or secretly transgress in the form of treachery in others' rights, thus that property becomes either Doubtful (Mashkook) or Unlawful (Haraam), sending a particular and stinking smell to the smelling sense of Devils. This establishes to them their right of partnership in those things.

5. Have you noticed? Devils consider their controlling authority permissible in a person's property and food when there is something from illegitimate ways mixed therein or that the whole thing is obtained from illegitimate sources, sending a particular smell to their nose. This smell makes their controlling authority allowable in those things or objects.

6. Have you noticed? Devils, similar to cats or dogs, have a particular smelling sense with regards to this quality whereby as soon as reaching the house, or seeing a certain thing, they analyze and study it from the viewpoint of their right of controlling authority and intervention. If it is found out that they have the maximum right of interference therein and will benefit therefrom, then the Devil who had caused a person or people to commit this action, receives higher rank.
