MAGNIFICENCE AND PERFECTION OF GLORIOUS ARTIFICER IN ARTS
Chapter 3
Man is Looking With Astonishment at his Creation
Preface: Since you have been introduced to some required extents to the circumstances of Man's creation
and other related issues, it is appropriate to step forward and talk about the basis of
creation and the manner of his development. It is appropriate, then, to examine the reasons
why all kinds of small and big domestic animals, except Man, have been given the particular
powers of moving about and communication from the birth, whereas Man's offspring, despite
inborn intelligence, was not privileged with this wealth from the birth. After two or
three years in this manner, he acquires that ability and excellence.
It is necessary that you ponder on the topics enlightening the corresponding truths.
1. Have you reflected? The purpose of this world's creation has not only been
for its observance of various kinds of beings. Nor has it been for Man to obtain the
most from this world and become the absolute in nobility on the face of the earth or
even of this firmament. Rather, there are hundreds of other truths therein. One
among them is that out of the most commonplace and unworthy things a variety of
colors are created each following its own wisdom. He Almighty is exhibiting the
Perfection of His Art and His Absolute Power by making us observe each of these,
so that we may establish the relationship with Him Almighty through this short way.
2. Have you reflected? The composition of one single sperm while a less
sensual Man ejaculates two or three million sperms and a more sensual person fifteen
to twenty millions or more at one time, each of them is endowed with all the major
and minor organs. By just reaching the womb
and uniting with the mother's ovum in the
uterus, within more or less nine months, Man's offspring comes into existence.
Deliberate, what is the inborn quality of Man's creation.
3. Have you reflected? A child's development during its residence in the
mother's womb is taken care through the umbilical cord.
It is the only means of transporting nutrients to the child in the womb, and it
possesses specialized activities in the ordered distribution of those nutrients.
This gives clear understanding that Exalted God is Able (Qaadir) to grant growth
and development to beings in other ways as well than through the chewing and gnawing,
as we mentioned above.
4. Have you reflected? At birth, the human or animal is much larger than its
birth outlet. So what is the mystery that this being, during birth, comes out undamaged
from that small passage? How is it possible that, after the infant's development in the
womb, the infant, synchronously or asynchronously with its amnion, automatically comes out?
How Glorious Able (Qaadir), Exalted Self-Subsisting (Qayyum), and how Evident Supremacy
(Kibriyaa) is the Unique God.
5. Have you reflected? The body of Man and most animals consists of bones, flesh,
brain, blood, nails, hair, blood vessels, intestines, glands, lungs, liver, kidneys,
and the necessary muscles. Each has its particularities pertaining to its specific
task and activity. The wastes of each organ caused by the work done are restored with
the same corresponding elements through blood.
6. Have you reflected? Why is Man's offspring unable to walk on its feet and
talk in its maternal language for at least one to two years after birth?
Because among these beings there are some who will become the owners of such capability
and great mastery that they will then be thinking on the essence of the Almighty's Being.
They will become people of high authority. They shall remember this period of ignorance
and incapability, and stand humbly in front of His Supreme Being.
"… and stand in total humility and meekness before Him Almighty."
Namely to be merciful and kind with the weak and helpless, for the sake of the Almighty's
happiness Who has bestowed upon you this capability.
7. Have you reflected? Why are the offspring of most domestic animals needed by
Man: The camel, the horse, the donkey, the goat, the sheep, and even the chicken and all the
others are given the ability to walk, and the talent to understand their maternal language
from the birth? Man's offspring, however who in their future will become great leaders in
science, administration, and business affairs, were not made to deserve that wealth from birth.
If infant domestic animals were unable to walk, then it would have been a trouble for Man
to move them about. Therefore, Exalted God has bestowed upon them the ability of walking from birth.
8. Have you reflected? There are other wisdoms behind the human infant's inability
to walk and talk as well besides the ones mentioned. Namely, they are unable to walk, talk,
and grab things. They should realize that there is no difficulty for Almighty Great ('Azeem)
Lord to bestow this ability at the beginning of birth. There are, however, wisdoms behind
it that He has not bestowed upon Man.
9. Have you reflected? Our world is like a caravansary throughout which Almighty
God has scattered a variety of things and tools called "trees," "plants," "grains," and
"mines" on land, in the oceans, and elsewhere, over the face of this earth.
Only Man, with the power of his exploring brain, rearranges these things and, hence,
organizes his life and his world's order.
10. Have you reflected? Likewise, the mines of good or evil, in time span
of centuries, or more or less by the order of "Be" (kun), are passed to the pious children
of mankind, as a Beloved One (Habeeb), a Messenger (Rasool), a Friend (Khallel), an Interlocutor
with God (Kaleem), a Spiritualist (Roohee), or a Saint (Walee). These majestic ones are
the guides of the good path and the divine knowledge, among human beings.
Ask always Glorious God that He may keep us in the sources of goodness and benevolence,
and may guide and give us success in spreading monotheism. Amen.
11. Have you reflected? This secret passes through human generations to one of
the sides-prosperous or wretched. Contrarily, sometimes beloved ones at the
level of Ibrahim Khaleel-ullah and Muhammad Rasool-ullah emerge from unbelievers.
Other times, out of the God's beloved comes God's enemy, such as Kin'aan son of Prophet
Noah, and so forth. These occurrences prove that there is no reckoning of the child
for the wickedness or goodness of his father if he does not follow, or he follows
but returns later.
12. Have you reflected? The greater secret is that this world is basically
each individual human being's trial residence. In those struggling and fighting in the
path of Exalted God, the Almighty is more gracious creating them in noble, knowledgeable,
and practicing families.
In this case, the sinful and nonbelievers are figuratively deprived compared to them.
13. Have you reflected? On this basis, there are excellent stations respectively
for people who were initially created at the environment of unbelievers and libertines,
and the like, if they turn to the path of guidance.
Likewise, pious people's children are scarred with-
"… he is not of your family…"
when going astray, such as the son of the prophet Noah peace be upon him by just a
small disobedience. For, they are as created in perfumery, and the other category in
non-perfumery, comparatively speaking.
Is it not a crime and great sin to go from fragrance to malodorous? The answer is positive.
14. Have you reflected? Man should not be disappointed in himself, even if he
is gone to wickedness. He should not think that guidance would be no more destined
for him. This is a temptation of Satan.
If the person is steady on the guided path, he should fear lest he might lose
himself by this confidence. We take refuge in Almighty God.
In summary, by keeping His Almighty's Presence in oneself, one should always have
mercy on weak people being intent on God's pleasure.
15. Have you reflected? On this basis, in all religions, especially in the
religion of Islam it is fixed that faith is between Fear and Hope.
The other point, more delicate than hair - wisely and intelligently analyzing, for the
followers and seekers of the path of guidance in both cases of disappointment and
hopefulness, a luminous torch would be to locate faith between fear and hope for
pious beginners.
Without doubt, the Self-Sufficient Guide (Ghanee ul-Haadee) and the Alone Everlasting
(Fard ul-Baaqee) is Exalted He.
