Chapter 8

A Glance at Trees, Their Way of Reproduction and Display, Under the Command of the Creator

Preface:
These stable, founded, fixed and firmly planted existents, everywhere and in every situation, provide advantages to Man and to other creatures of our planet. Not only do they decorate the earth, but also filter the air, control the intensity of the wind and the dust that comes with it. They satisfy Man's necessary living needs through their productions and luminosities.

In brief, if you take a profound look at trees, you will submerge into yourself with deep and deeper surprises as what is the mystery there, in that the trees are generally made out of wood, and yet each kind of tree leads to different products with particular qualities and specifications. Rather, the body structure, and the wood of the branches and body of each individual tree in its essence has its own particular quality. This observation would particularly enlighten the secrets of Perfection (Kamaal) and Glory (Jalaal) of His Great ('Azeem) and Imperishable (Laayazaal), Almighty, in the inner baatin of the botanists.

Hopefully you will carefully ponder this discourse on trivial portion to which we, with the help of Almighty God, draw your attention. Accordingly, you, with your own God-gifted talent, may find more and better secrets about other trees, fruits, and stones.

Let us hope for success and help from Him, the Almighty, to us and all followers, here, there and everywhere. Amen and Amen.

1. Have you reflected? That most trees and some wood-based flowers during the winter season transfer a certain quantity of excess heat to their branches from under the ground, which is warmer, in order to fight the seasonal cold. This way they protect their branches from freezing.

Could this and other similar tasks coincidentally come into existence, without the Great ('Azeem), Generous (Kareem) and Eternal (Qadeem) ordered measurement of Him? No, never!

2. Have you reflected? That the underground gets cooler in the summer. Why? Certainly! In order to control the unbearable heat of the summer, the trees and plants circulate cool water from under the ground upward, and the hot from the surface downward. This way, the trees and plants are kept at moderate temperature against the excessive heat of summer and do not dry up.

Likewise, in the winter, the trees are kept safe from external coolness through circulating the underground warm water.

3. Have you reflected? Besides facilitating the filtration of air by recycling carbon dioxide into oxygen, each leaf of trees and plants is as a battery.
The leaf gets its necessary charges from the light of the sun and the moon. These charges are then accumulated into the specific root's reservoirs. By this means, through the weak and strong capillaries, the absorption of the corresponding nutritional and productive foodstuff takes place from remote distances underneath the ground.

Sure! The Sovereign Lord (Maalik), the Lord of Majesty and Bounty (Dhuljalaal wal-Ikraam), and the Creator of favors, is Glorious He.

4. Have you reflected? That trees collect their required nutritious and productive stuffs, and flowers and leaves through their roots during the winter. As soon as spring arrives, immediately they start supplying those nutritious and productive stuffs upward in a required order to their branches and sub-branches. In some of these, the blossom stuffs are supplied first, such as in the apricot tree and so forth. In some others, the necessary leaf stuffs are supplied first, such as pomegranate, and so forth.

Truly, Glorious is He the Wise Provider (Raaziq ul-Hakeem) and Generous Lord (Sultaan ul-Kareem).

5. Have you reflected? In winter, trees and flowers of all kinds and forms gather and collect their required growth and development nutrients for leaves, flowers, and branches, in their special root reservoirs. As soon as the spring season arrives, with the fastest speed they start supplying these nutrients upwards. If you pay attention, therefore, you will observe that the growth of trees during spring is overwhelming, it cannot be achieved during other parts of the year, despite all favorable weather and nutrients conditions.

6. Have you reflected? There are no more than a few kilograms of earth stuck around the roots of fruit and vegetable plants. Logically seen, there is not that much of sweetness such as in watermelon and melon, hotness such as in pepper, or bitterness such as in opium, and so forth in the soil surrounding the roots. This is as well thanks to, and an effect of, the electrostatic activities going on in the "batteries" of the tree or plant residing in the roots' specific reservoirs. They accomplish the task of absorbing the particular required matters.

How Wise (Hakeem) God, and Great ('Azeem) Glorious Supreme (Kibiyaa) He is, Glorified be He, and high exalted above (all) that they ascribe (unto Him).

7. Have you reflected? Each tree is in position to mother hundreds of thousands of childbearing daughters. Namely, each bud will bear more buds and out of these buds, branches, leaves, and miscellaneous fruits will grow. As a matter of fact, each of these trees is as mother giving birth to mothers.

Without doubt, the True Trustee (Haq ul-Wakeel) is Glorious He.

8. Have you reflected? Trees, plants and the like are generally as mother of hundreds of thousands of mothers annually. This means that each bud is producer of branches, and each branch, depending on its size, possesses hundreds of buds.

The tree was here just an example and a portion of the Science and Art of the Great Glorious Creator.

Sure! the Abaser Expander (Baasith ul-Khaafidh) and the Great Constrictor ('Azeem ul-Qaabidh), is Glorious He.

9. Have you reflected? How the trees and plants are nourished though they are motionless and stable, where they even provide others with various kinds of products. This secret conveys to pure-hearted true Believers that, O! Man! You and all other living creatures are making efforts and are searching for your food and drinks, but Our Holiness is permanently supplying the assigned daily nutrients to all these trees, plants and even to the stable mines, even though they are all motionless. Hence, we ought to be firm in making our livelihood. It is a saying that "the striving from the servant, the blessings from Almighty God."

10. Have you reflected? Likewise plants

also according to the wisdom of the absolute Wise, are making use of man's and animals' residues and of other materials. From these comes the growth of plants. At the end of this process, these plants grant us a variety of foodstuffs called fruits, grains, and vegetables and so on by the Command and Grace of God. They even put their wood-products and the beneficial oils to our access in various ways for fulfilling our needs.

How Wise All-Embracing the Loving (Waasa'e ul-Hakeem ul-Wadood), the Existing Unique Cherisher He is.

11. Have you reflected? After what wisdom is the water located on the peaks of mountains, in the form of huge masses of snow which gradually melt? Then the rivers flow throughout the year, giving mankind assistance in irrigation. This water then returns to the oceans.

12. Have you reflected? In regard with the absorption of the rain water, rivers, creeks and all that, the Great Wise Being has permitted to the earth to certain extent to take in this water.
So that this absorbed water may reappear from other parts of the earth through circulating springs, flowing subterranean canals, and deep wells. Thereby they may serve mankind. Otherwise, this water, according to water-absorption quality of the earth, should have penetrated in the earth all the way to the end. However, by the command of the Great God, the water can not go beyond a certain limit.

Indeed, the Self-Sufficient Guide (Ghanee ul-Haadee) and the Alone Everlasting (Fard ul-Baaqee) is Glorious He.

 CHAPTER HIGHLIGHT
Mawlana Faizani - Click to Learn More..."The remembrance of God, Glorified and Exalted be He, in solitude, and the ponderance on things everywhere are considered unconditional worship. These are considered the most complete way of worshiping in the generous Messenger's sound jurisprudence, peace and blessings of God be upon him. Some religious leaders have placed less emphasis on this, while later followers have forgotten it entirely. Their carelessness makes for valuable and awakening topics of discussion. Negligence of those truths has caused the weakness of faith, and the weakness of faith is expressive of the lack of affection and concern towards Almighty God of the Earth and Time.

As a consequence, the relationship of Muslims with Him, Mighty and Sublime be He, decreased more and more. Hence, they are caught and trapped in today's immoralities, misery, and underdevelopment. Finally, some are appealing to the east for help, while others have fallen to their knees in the presence of the west."
