MAGNIFICENCE AND PERFECTION OF GLORIOUS ARTIFICER IN ARTS
Chapter 2
The Composition of Man's Body
1. Have you reflected? How the nostrils, the mouth's cavity, the intestines and
lungs with all their tortuous and winding shapes are drilled; how the marrow cavities
inside the bones are drilled?
Who should receive merit for these but the powerful imperceptible Hand of the
Glorious One, Whose favors are indiscriminately abundant, Whose Name is honorable,
and Whose station is high.
2. Have you reflected? There is something more astonishing in the drilling
of the body's tiny arteries and veins.
They are drilled with perfect order and precision.
They are designed in such a way that blood arrives in blood vessels called capillaries at
one end and feeds the veins underneath the muscles at the other, so that circulation is
facilitated.
3. Have you reflected? The truth in this secret is clearly observed today in
the light of medical treatments and surgical operations. Children have never been
operated on at birth for obstruction of blood arteries caused by imperfect order of
blood circulation. This conveys that the affairs corresponding to the word "Be" kun
of the Almighty Eternal Being contain so much Perfection Kamaal and Glory Jalaal that
even an atom of shortage can not be seen.
How Self-Subsisting (Qayyum), Omnipotent (Qaadir), and Knowledgeable is the Powerful God.
4. Have you reflected? The body's circulating vessels are given such a quality
by His Almighty Unique Being (Ahad) that in case an organ is defective or has caught
a disease, it will have to be cut off. Were it left solely to human knowledge, the
order of blood circulation in veins and arteries would be thereby ruined. However,
what happens and through what ways? The Almighty Unique Being does not leave the
blood circulation defective in the body's order. Hence, tiny vessels are enlarged
and blood circulation is properly reestablished. The arteries are rejoined nicely
and automatically to the ends of veins.
Praise be to God, the Great ('Azeem), we glorify You O' Generous (Kareem) Cherisher!
5. Have you reflected? In spite of the adhesive property of the body's flesh,
the lips and tongue in the mouth, the eye-lids, fingers and toes, and likewise the
hands and feet with the body, do not adhere to one another during the gestation in
the mother's womb.
It is evident that the growth and development process is carried
out permanently up to the completion point, strictly under the supervision of His
Unique Almighty Being under the command of "Be" kun.
God is sacred, having all Greatness and Power. He is One and Unique, the Wise (Hakeem)
having wisdom Who is incomparable, may He be Glorified.
6. Have you reflected? The body's and head's hair of Man, even of hairiest
of animals such as sheep, goat, cow, pig, and hundreds of others has never been
observed that at least two hairs were welded to each other in the mother's womb.
Even though they seem to be mixed, they are not born attached to one another.
7. Have you reflected? A more precise point would be that filaments of
cotton, linen and so forth are skillfully twisted inside their balls. If you
attentively observe them they show that within a world of perplexity dwells the
perfection of His Almighty Unique Being's (Waahid ul-Ahad) Power. In this as
well, not even two thin fibers stick to each other; each is separate, and remains so.
Glory to God, Praise be to God, Thanks be to God.
8. Have you reflected? The body hairs of Man or animals and the rest
without anything separating them are not welded with one another; they grow separately.
How Wise (Hakeem) is Glorious God, and Powerfully Generous (Kareem) is Exalted He!
9. Have you reflected? Some of the brain's cells circulate, via the spinal
cord, throughout the nerves. They complete a circuit back to the brain within six
months in such a way that the cells that have reached the body's limits will turn
back and head towards the brain. There are different cases depending on the annual
frequency of this circulation. Memory deficiency can often be attributed to excessive
circulation if not affected by any other diseases. Therefore, whatever has been stored
in particular brain cells goes rapidly towards the marrow and organs, there to be
forgotten. This circulation takes place inside the neurons.
10. Have you reflected and ever pondered? Often the palm is whiter and
nicer than the back of the hand. In any case, there is an inherent separation
between the palm and the back of the hand.
Since most food and drink reaches one's mouth via the hand, fingers, and palm, one
observes them with full control. Therefore, in order for the person not to become
displeased, the palm is created nicer and whiter than the back of the hand.
"So blessed be God, the best of the creators."
11. Have you reflected? Why are the seeds of most fruits, those located
inside watermelon, loquat and the like, created in a very smooth shape with no
edge, no sharply pointed ends? For human beings, hasty creatures that they are,
would have swallowed them whole. They would irritate the stomach or intestines,
and block them, and so cause the so-called disease of appendicitis.
How Great ('Azeem) and Knowledgeable is He about the minor and major conditions and
states of human beings and His all other creatures as well, the Almighty Generous (Kareem).

" The remembrance of God, Glorified and Exalted be He, in solitude, and the
ponderance on things everywhere are considered unconditional worship. These are
considered the most complete way of worshiping in the generous Messenger's sound
jurisprudence, peace and blessings of God be upon him. Some religious leaders
have placed less emphasis on this, while later followers have forgotten it entirely.
Their carelessness makes for valuable and awakening topics of discussion. Negligence
of those truths has caused the weakness of faith, and the weakness of faith is expressive
of the lack of affection and concern towards Almighty God of the Earth and Time.
As a consequence, the relationship of Muslims with Him, Mighty and Sublime be He,
decreased more and more. Hence, they are caught and trapped in today's immoralities,
misery, and underdevelopment. Finally, some are appealing to the east for help, while
others have fallen to their knees in the presence of the west."
