HE STOOD FOR MORALITY, JUSTICE AND HARMONY
by Amanullah Saidi
In reference to 24th imprisonment anniversary of the great Muslim scholar Mawlana Faizani, I would like to say few words on this precious occasion to the people of Afghanistan.
After reading some valuable books of Mawlana Faizani Sahib which gave an immense pleasure to my soul, I conceived that he was very brave, strong in faith, had a beautiful character, and feared none other than God.
The imprisonment of Mawlana Faizani was the action of the corrupt government of Afghanistan (1953-1973), which worked with the communists against our Islamic principles and in violation of international law. Mawlana Faizani struggle was based on the concepts of self-sufficiency, morality, justice and harmony for all of our people. He worked hard on establishing schools and libraries, wrote books on all sorts of subjects as a way of educating and saving the people of this war torn and shattered country. He spent his entire life in prison, only because of some corrupt slaves who did not want their positions challenged by such a great scholastic personality.
Today, I proudly state that the attentive, constructive and valuable services of Mawlana Faizani and his son Ustad Mazhabi for the people of Afghanistan will never be forgotten.

O' Bestower, Sovereign and Holy!
O' Great, Merciful and Generous Allah,
That the hearts of people are between
The two fingers of Your Being;
Turn all these hearts
(of us, companions, supporters, friends, all Muslims and all children of Man of our time)
as far as You will, towards Yourself,
through our great teacher and us,
for practicing Your commands, leaving the forbidden, and knowing Your Unique Being,
for the sake of Your names piled up Hidden,
Great, Exalted and Greatest of Great.
We are defeated, give us victory
For the sake of Your Honor and Glory;
O' The Most Pure and Holy;
Hurry for its acceptance, O' The Fulfiller of all Needs.

"Being arrested and imprisoned seven times, pounding 18 thousand sticks,
receiving successively electronic shocks for 45 days, plucking his beard and martyring
his teeth are the known examples of the tortures given to Mawlana Faizani by the
cruel authority of the dark monarchy era (1953-1973).
Moreover, all the things he went through added more to his commitment. The expressions
on his face seen on the photographs taken in front of the prison bars were clear indications
that Mawlana Faizani was determined to continue, as he said: "The powerful of freedom
looters can only imprison my body; but my soul, my brain,
my pen as well as my conscious is free and independent.
I will continue my campaign through my pen and brain."
Hence interpretation of his higher thoughts and deep emotion
resulted in 52 valuable books on different matters." |
