ONE OF THE GREATEST LEADERS WHO STEPPED OVER HIS OWN DESIRES
by M. Qasim Urfani
Verse: "Behold! Verily on the friends of God there is no fear, Nor shall they grieve."
Dear friends, according to this verse, the true believers and the saints of God are not afraid of anyone or any power but the power of Almighty God. Without doubt, Mawlana Faizani Sahib is one of those great saints with a high degree of piety who feared none other than Almighty God. He continued to perform his Islamic obligations even in prison with complete devotion, love, humility and enthusiasms. His great, outstanding, and unforgettable service for our people and all human kind was done purely for the happiness of God, with absolutely no personal material ambitions of any kind.
Furthermore, if we ponder into the current and evolving situation in our country Afghanistan, and if we take a good look at our failed leadership and compare them to Mawlana Faizani Sahib, we can conclude with certainty, that these so-called leaders above all were influenced by their own desires, and external conspiracies. Due to their failed leadership, the country is on the verge of collapse. No doubt, Mawlana Faizani Sahib is one of the greatest leaders who stepped over his own desires from the very beginning for the service of our people and humanity.

O' Bestower, Sovereign and Holy!
O' Great, Merciful and Generous God,
That the hearts of people are between
The two fingers of Your Being;
Turn all these hearts
(of us, companions, supporters, friends, all Muslims and all children of Man of our time)
as far as You will, towards Yourself,
for practicing Your commands, leaving the forbidden, and knowing Your Unique Being,
for the sake of Your names piled up Hidden,
Great, Exalted and Greatest of Great.
We are defeated, give us victory
For the sake of Your Honor and Glory;
O' The Most Pure and Holy;
Hurry for its acceptance, O' The Fulfiller of all Needs.

"Being arrested and imprisoned seven times, pounding 18 thousand sticks,
receiving successively electronic shocks for 45 days, plucking his beard and martyring
his teeth are the known examples of the tortures given to Mawlana Faizani by the
cruel authority of the dark monarchy era (1953-1973).
Moreover, all the things he went through added more to his commitment. The expressions
on his face seen on the photographs taken in front of the prison bars were clear indications
that Mawlana Faizani was determined to continue, as he said: "The powerful of freedom
looters can only imprison my body; but my soul, my brain,
my pen as well as my conscious is free and independent.
I will continue my campaign through my pen and brain."
Hence interpretation of his higher thoughts and deep emotion
resulted in 52 valuable books on different matters." |
